Forward Motion – A Family Self-Sufficiency Program
When you have a Section 8 voucher with Vermont State Housing Authority, you may choose to participate in the Forward Motion / Family Self-Sufficiency Program. This program is voluntary and is designed to help families become financially self-sufficient.
The program offers the following benefits:
- Employment and financial coaching
- Recommendations and referrals to community partners who can help you overcome barriers to employment
- An FSS Escrow savings account can accrue as you have increases in earned income.
